At the end of the year, the limited farming company “I discepoli di Padre Pio – Società a responsabilità limitata” was established to cultivate the lands belonging to the association and to manage the green areas. All this according to the principles of organic farming, producing top quality fresh food without using chemicals. Our farming approach also prioritises respect for local biodiversity and the use of practises that have a very low impact on the environment, in order to preserve and even improve the vitality of the soil and to favour carbon sinks.
